Evaluation Approach

Elevate NP has engaged Social Science Consultants, LLC to provide evaluation expertise. SSC is using a mixed methods approach to assess Elevate NP’s relevance and impact on organizations and capacity building providers.

SSC is developing a tool to assess change in organizational capacity. The evaluation team will apply a quasi-experimental design to determine the impact of Elevate NP’s efforts on the nonprofit organizations it serves. Qualitative information will also be collected from organizations, capacity building providers, and funders to get a rounded view of Elevate NP’s impact, thoughts on Elevate NP, and the continued needs.

On a continuous basis, feedback will be provided to Elevate NP so it can modify offerings to respond to needs. Elevate NP plans to eventually share its experience with field of capacity building at large.
